I'm pretty sure nightwulf is the first Sears employee to know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Perhaps it's time for an "ask nightwulf" thread

please update me on your goings ons

I work in corporate security for a large agricultural company. Like rdub I'm sure someone in my company is scouring the web for mentions, so I'll say it's A Damn Mess. Keep that corn coming from Iowa, thanks!

Gantry

Reminds me, are we no longer searchable?  Did that awhile ago, someone test...

How about deleting a the shit that no one uses?

Gantry

Free ram went from 550 to 231 megs in the last minute, though forums say 3 users, 3 guests according to the front page.  Wonder if spammers are hitting the wikis or something.

MikeD is an important part of this forum weather you like him or not.

Gantry

Went all the way down to 60MB then shot back up to 500MB free.  Now hovering around 400, fkn weird....

Gantry

Got down to 200MB and restarted httpd, went back to 2GB free.  I honestly would have expected more

Gantry

Trickling down back to 1GB, no real rhyme or reason.  0 guests, 5 users

Gantry

Got down to 830mb, restarted mysqld and up to nearly 1.3gb.  took a good minutes to stop/start though, maybe longer.  Decent savings but it looks more like apache...

Gantry

ngnix too much of a PITA to configure when doing PHP stuff, not worth the effort...

CPU pretty much at 95-99% all the time, mostly apache.

Hardware upgrade may be in our future...

Gantry

CPU down to 20%, free memory 1.5GB.  People leaving work?  Maybe increasing ram/swap will actually fix?

Maybe re-install the OS or fall back to a restore point?

GDavis

What version are you running? Have you checked for patches?
