I don't know if it's noted anywhere on the site, but is it just my RBI or is detroit's defense insane. every arm in the outfield throws either line drives or those flies where the ball gets bigger. I refuse to run on any of those arms. and the 3B is scott rolen of the 80's.
by far the best defense in the game.

Check out the BOPs explained thread. By the numbers Det is the worst fielding team and, if I remember correctly, everyone has the same throwing arm in this game. I know, it doesn't seem that way, but Wulf/the numbers don't lie.

Incidentally, Terry Pendleton gets my vote as the best defensive 3rd baseman in the game. At least when he plays against me, he's diving and barehanding everything that comes his way. Brookens isn't bad on D, he's just not TP. I like Brookens more for his bat (3 bombs for me last night).

These aren't stats, Nightwulf looked into the ROM numbers. So as much as all of us would like to say otherwise, these numbers aren't up for debate.

Look, the game doesn't work by magic, there is a program that was written which the game operates on.  Nightwulf is looking at the actual code that runs the game, those numbers are fact.

Correctamundo.  If you're good at your technique, your team will have arms like cannons.  If you're shitty with your technique, your team will throw like a bunch of little girls.
I fucking hate Detroit's defense.  Trammell and Sweet Lou are good for a couple of BOPs per game for me and Chubbs.  I've mentioned this before:  they've committed 4 errors in one inning, twice.
Usually, their offense makes up for their lack in the fielding department but I am BOP intolerant.  I have no tolerance for BOPs, and I won't stand for it.

-In two games last night, Detroit had 9 errors, including 2 that would have been inning ending double plays that allowed BO to score 6 runs. Det's D is horrible, I want nothing to do with that team.
