I've been trying to play RBI Baseball via an XBOX Wireless USB Controller, and i swear to Zaphod 90% of the time I try to throw to 2nd base, my guy throws it to 3rd base instead.  That has the tendency to turn would-be double-plays into singles.  Very annoying!

As such, I just bought two of these: http://www.amazon.com/Classic-USB-NES-Controller-PC/dp/B002YVD3KM

Has anybody tried these out?  Hopefully I didn't just waste $22!  I'll let everyone know how they feel/work when I get them.

I got mine from retrousb.com...little pricier, but recommended...

I know on the tecmo forums, some people have complained that the usb controllers around the 'net are cheap plastic and not the same material and button action as the original had...beware!

Gantry

yeah, stick with retrousb - they now make the USB-to-NES-Plug adapters, this is nice because you can use your own controllers and plug into the adapter.

I bought two of those on eBay for $7.99 each and have had no problems. Well, except that I still lose occasionally at RBI but I guess that's on me not the controller. ;-)
I hope they'll work for you too.
And BOOM goes the Dynamite!
