I THOUGHT ENDORSING DYKSTRA WAS BAD BUT DICK SCHOFIELD OVER EVERYONE ELSE IN THE GAME...GEEZ WITT,  YOU MUST BE PRETTY DEDICATED TO THE HALOS.  DICK SCHOFIELD IS ABOUT THE 12TH BEST GUY ON HIS TEAM.   WHATEVER, ITS YOUR OPINION I GUESS,  NO MATTER HOW WRONG YOU ARE.

i think dickie scho is money, but not the best in the game.  that lineup is difficult to pitch to if you sub ruppert and hendrick for pettis and boone. you have to pitch to somebody, which means dincinces, downing and schofield, and they can all murder you with deep ball.

btw, yesterday ryan express took the bosox and hit 6 consecutive home runs off me.  (keep in mind we play curve pitch).  they were all off a tiring don robinson, and were all BOMBS.

it was Burks_for_leadoff that was endorsing Dykstra for most clutch hitter in RBI.  Burks was only crowned Champion of NYC

Personally,

In RBI:

Armas and Mike Scott

In real life:

Dykstra and Jack Morris  (both were nerveless).

Unfortunately, despite being the greatest post-season pitcher in MLB history, Morris will not be elected to the Hall.

And, amazin'ly, Nails received 3 Hall of Fame votes this past ballot.

schofield was tearing shit up for me at the time, i had to go with him.  lately, i've been kicking ass with bobby grich, but i wouldn't dare to put his name.  in all honesty, i would have to go with kirk gibson.  i'm still keeping witt though!

oh yeah, i don't think it's possible for me to be wrong when i name a player that --> I <-- want at the plate.

id go with Fernando and his nasty screwgie, and of course id want Mr. October at the dish. i mean come on hes a lefty that pounds the ball, what else could u ask for.

The__Rocket

it has got to be rice and nolan

sucka free

Nolan Ryan
M. Sullivan (you can bank on his pitch hit homers)

Gantry

He had his moments a few years back, but Sullivan is straight up ass for us.  One of the last guys I would want up, outside of Steve Lake that is...

sucka free

In the words of Silvo from "Sopranos".....disgusting!!

Sullivan is clutch.  By the way, what do you mean when you say "a few years back".  Is your video aging and is no longer an everyday player.  Did sullivan on your console all of a sudden lose its ability?

Gantry

Sullivan was one feared SOB back at the end of College (99), but has since dropped off the radar.  Since he left Dekalb, Sullivan has been slumping.  Though with our recent RBI drought (we've played about 10 games total since June), perhaps he's found the groove again...

sucka free

his bay area rep broders on "god-like"

HoJoFan

I gotta go with orosco on the mound, he can always get at least  the first two guys he faces to strike out or make weak contact.  At the plate it's a tough one.  I like straw, baylor, and mr oct., gotta give the nod to reggie, though.

Flood

I'm assuming Slurve or Curve...

1. Krukow...Dr. Splooge has mad drops that last well into the game.  I'll take his junk over faster guys any day.

2. Five words for ya...What Would Jack Clark Do?  JC has been my man as of late...I would normally go with DaEvans or ARMAS, but Clark has been eating shit and breathing fire lately...or something like that.

I like Reardon on the hill, he has a knack for closing up shop.

At the plate, my money is on Jim Rice, who I like to call the best pure hitter in the game.  He really drives the ball, and he's a spray hitter too, all fields.

spray hitter?  c'mon man we all no that this in something that was taken into account with the original rbi.   It all depends on when you swing.

I want Stanley pitching
And Rice hitting

Blyleven_No-No

I want to revisit a comment that I made here back in 2002.

Joeseph Shady, do you disagree with me that Jim Rice is not an excellent spray hitter in RBI??  I mean it in the sense that he can drive the ball to both fields, power to both gaps, he is truly a difficult out because of this.

Do I need to write another long lecture about how I feel about the game of RBI???

1. If you had to win one game, who do you give the ball to?

2. If you had one at bat- bases loaded, down 2 runs- who do you want at the plate.

Back to the original Q:

I'm going with Blyleven and Will Clark
