there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

GDavis

is there a way to turn off login protection on the box score?

Updated the link to go to a PNG with the box score.

WOW! Shooty and his Shooties came in cocky and expecting a win to just take care of itself by just throwing the hats on the field! haha, mercy ruled'D by Yacht Radio! That error in the 7th was a killer!

McGwire mysteriously disappeared this game. I don't think he even had a hit. Clemens came up strong today! Tempo's star hitters sure didn't disappoint.

Good game and a surprising result. Hey Shooty, take that tournament victory and shove it up your canuck!

Bruno though was

Always. He's going to hit over .650. All he does is get hits and more hits with bombs sprinkled in.

Gooden got torched. In all the simulation games I ran, I never saw him get torched like no man before! One of those anomaly games for Gooden and it had to happen OPENING NIGHT! The Canadian Shooties will bounce back. Really surprised by the Eazy Listeners - I've never seen them play like that. What happens when the official rom goes out for a slate of games, magic and the unknown happens.

nomaaa, THE EMPIRE IS COMING FOR YOU!

Awesome

Which easy listening song(s) fired up your ball players, Tempo? Ozzie Smith set the Tempo with a leadoff triple on the first pitch of the game. Still can't believe McGwire went hitless.

This is what we went with for this week

Hell of a job by the EZ Listeners not falling apart after that fourth inning.  I was sure it was going to be all Shooty from that point on, but Clemens really stepped it up, and the offense really picked things up.

4 scoreless innings in a row by the Shooties is rather pathetic

Also, Mclane, I made the team just literally all brown like they are living turds. Let me know if you want to change that.

That was a good game.  McGee hit a fucking bomb.

BeefMaster

Did you get a kickback from Microsoft for leaving your mouse pointer over the Microsoft Word taskbar icon the whole game?

My first comment was going to be that Assful really managed a lot of runs without much power, then Franco went and gave up that ridiculous 4-homer 7th, which made that commentary seem pretty silly.

Canseco's 0-3 start was really close to having him dumped from the leadoff spot.

It's a small sample size.  Trust the process.
