Out of all the seasons, the top 4 picks are heavily represented in the playoffs and the few exceptions came from me, Nacho/MikeD, and Ultimate ... and that's because people like RePeat, Attez, and TBT made dumb mistakes in the draft and then some trades helped my team and Nacho/Mike D's team in season V - that season I picked next to last and Nacho/Mike D picked last.

Loved that Sally Cunts team. We lucked into Strawberry and Davis and had a team built around speed, which was a lot of fun. Epic battles against our rivals, the Empire.

It's getting to the point where we have enough draft data to come up with average draft position and a complete list of stats from all seasons, though I'm guessing that Darky is the only one with stats from every season and he's not going to give it up.

I have to say, I don't care for the consistent implications that I jimmied the draft order somehow. First of all, I've never been someone with I'll will towards you, and secondly, I myself got the ninth pick. So there's zero reason whatsoever to think that I'm trying to screw anyone over.

I'll ask again.

What will the errors be set to?

How many games will this season be for each team?

Playoff format?

Who is keeping stats?

How will the games be televised?

Rotating starting pitchers right?

Tell us more about how you plan to run the league.

somebody had to be last, and it probably should have been the team that finished the worst from last year

Well, I picked next to last ... last year. Like I pointed out, the first 4 picks are at a huge advantage in a 10-team season. I looked over all the seasons, and those who picked 1-4 heavily represented in the playoffs and finals. TBG won back-to-back titles in seasons II and III, and both of those seasons he had the first pick. Turd picked second in season VI, and he was a rookie. Dawson carried him to the finals and the Legion of Doom (Beef and TBG), picked second that year and won it all. Last year, Tempo picked first and Dawson's 22 HR's carried him for the championship. The next batter with the most homeruns hit 14 homeruns. To succeed in the bottom of the draft, you need to not make mistakes, rely on other people's draft mistakes, and get lucky in a trade.

So that's 2 drafts where I picked next to last, and one draft where I picked last. In season IV when Fighton ran it, I came in early in the season and took over for Ryno since he disappeared from the forum for a long time. I pulled off a series of trades and got to the finals.

Most of these questions were not asked before, but I will answer them now:

Errors will be set to 8

Each team will play each other team twice

Playoffs - we will do two divisions.  The second and third place teams in each division will face each other in a best of seven to play the first place team of that division.  The winners of each division mini-tournament will play in the finals against each other.

Games will be uploaded to YouTube once they are done.  If there is a way to broadcast them live as well, let me know and I will try and figure it out...but I don't know how to do that as of now, if it's possible,

Yes, SPs will be rotated.

Divisions (randomly created) and schedules will be posted later on this week.  If I am going to go random for the divisions, what is a way to show what I am doing live besides for going on Facebook?  There's obviously some concern from SOMEONE here that not all is on the up and up, so if people want to witness it and there's an easy way to go about doing so, I'm fine with that.

i like the idea of divisions, but is there a chance division rivals could face each other thrice  instead of twice?

Lots of scoring to happen this year with the errors set to 8! No worries about the division setup  -doesn't matter. Draft selection would have been splendid live, but that's history now. As far as the games, just do your thing. Just think about attaching the ROM file before the season starts so we can see that the players ratings are in order. Last year, Fighton manually inserted the players and their ratings in the ROM, then he got the ratings wrong with a couple of pitchers in the first week and that caused a bit of a stir. It's much easier to just switch players around until all the teams are set in the rom.

When I ran the league, I announced the forum time of my games. I think started recording at the announced team, opened up the ROM file, put the ROM in the emulator, and then zoomed in on the forum clock so everybody could see that I wasn't using the hand of god (the videos are still up on my channel btw). The rom files from my games were also available and attached so anybody could check what time that ROM ran for the game so that it matched the forum time, as well as check all the player ratings for integrity. So I did everything in my power to verify the authenticity and integrity of all my games since 2-3 owners kept suspecting about the hand of god involved. I'm not suggesting you do this since you don't have to because everybody likes you and thus trusts you.

Loved that Sally Cunts team. We lucked into Strawberry and Davis and had a team built around speed, which was a lot of fun. Epic battles against our rivals, the Empire.

That was an epic series between maybe two of the best teams ever in a 10-team league. I forgot exactly what happened with the Ripken trade, but it ended up being a 3-way trade where you guys got rid of Ozzie and somehow ended up with Ripken. Ozzie came to me eventually, but not directly from you guys. I ended up platooning him with Barret, but Barret ultimately won the job. I ended up with Gibson in some package deal where Dykstra was shipped off. Here were the lineups:

Sally Cunts

1. Lopes
2. EDavis
3. Strwby
4. Madlck
5. Mitchl
6. Joyner
7. Laudnr
8. Ripken

5. Gibson
6. Heath
7. Knight
8. Barret

All drafts can be searched via a search here. I only have seasons V, VI, VII, and this year's on file. I did give you stats from seasons II, III, IV, and half of VI, I believe. Check your FB history messages with me.

The pitching stats are a bit tricky. When Fighton ran seasons II, III, and IV, he didn't rotate his starting pitchers. So a team's starter started the game all year and the number 2 SP always pitched in relief. Then he allowed Attez to start is RP's and have his SP's come in relief. And I think in season II, there were only 8 teams. So although I have the historical pitching stats for every pitcher combined in all the seasons, those stats aren't direct. I haven't updated the historical pitching stats, but before last season, somebody like M.Scott was 15th all-time in ERA and N.Ryan was dead last. Last season, those two were brilliant. And Gooden had a career 12.4 ERA before last season, then his ERA was 18.something last season. Going into last season, Robnsn was 3rd all-time in career ERA for RP's, but then with the Empire last year, his ERA was over 20. something. Dayley was first all-time in career ERA for RPs and he was also on my bullpen last season, but he also had an ERA over 20. Just goes to show you that there are very few sure things in the league except for a few players.

I haven't ever created a career hitting list. I could if I wanted since I have all the stats, but that's too big of a project for my taste.

I said errors at 8 (and eighties at 8) because I thought that's what fighton had them at last year. I don't want them to dominate the landscape. Would 5 be better?

I think fewer errors are better.

5 or 6 would be perfecto! Last year, 8 errors was just too high with each team making up to 4 errors a game. These guys are professionals!

I watched all the games, and the majority of those errors were throwing errors that are unrelated to the error settings. Most games only had one or two BOPs.

MORE ERRORS FOR EVERYONE

I agree with this even though I think my team is really good and errors will only add to the randomness and make them more vulnerable.

Like everything else in your life, you have an inflated sense of self-worth....   Ergo your team isn't that good.
