DONT TRADE REGGIE

Yeah.  Two games ago, he went 6 for 6 with 6 extra base hits.

The Steely Dans Revenge bullpen took over in the 8th and 9th innings and pitched lights-out as RP Garber and RP McCrmk each fanned a batter and only allowed 2 hits and zero runs to cement the Steely Dans second win in a row after starting the season 0-3. a Dans all they needed going in the 9th with a 12-10 lead over the Empire. McCrmk retired the side in the top of the 9th to end the game as the lively fans at Tempo Park chanted "IT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOREIGN MOVIE" in the direction of the Empire who was leaving the field through the tunnel.

The Empire's late inning scoring struggles continues. The Empire have now scored 0 runs in the 8th and 9th innings in consecutive games and in 3 of their 5 games.  And it should be noted that Ron Cey hit into three double plays!

Sparked by a 2 out "Rabbit" Maranville infield single that led to a Mantle 3-run HR in the second inning, the Montreal Exposé outscored the struggling Cleveland Spiders 17-5 from the 5th until the 8th inning to convincingly win 27-14 in a mercy rule victory.

Mickey Mantle (3HR, 1 3B) and Reggie Jackson (3 HR, 3 2B) both went 6/6 and Eddie Mathews joined the hitting fest wit 3 screaming blasts and 7 RBI.

What was a tight game after 4 innings, the Spiders couldn't keep up with the Exposé's firepower. Montreal jumped on Tudor and when he came in relief and Montreal's pitching was good enough to limit the Spiders.

A noteworthy first in the history of the Fantasy RBI League, is Rabbit's 2 infield singles - nobody has ever hit 2 infield singles in the same game - both were ground balls to the second baseman - speed kills!

W.Ford and M.Scott were both masterful in limiting an explosive Purple Reign to only 4 runs as the Hulk Hogans won their second straight with a 15-4 business-like victory.

J.Rice led the Hulk Hogans offense with a 6/6, 3 HR, and 6 RBI showing at the plate.

Purple Reign's 3-4-5 hitters registered zero RBIs.

Roger Clemens pitched a brilliant complete game to help lead the Swinging Dicks to a 21-10 victory of U7.

Clemens gave up only 17 hits and 10 runs in his strong 9 innings. Down the stretch, Clemens only got stronger by allowing zero runs. McGwire hit a pair of shots and drove in 5 runs and Jack Clark drove in 4 runners on the strength of two doubles and a 3-run homerun to lead the Dicks offense.

U7 was never really in the ball game and barely mustered a threat. The bright spot was Will Clark's grand slam and 6 rbi.

Week 6 slate. It's a beautiful day for a ballgame! The posted time represents Dee Nee time.

I like how you have Quality Starts as a category.  Will that ever happen?

I wonder what should be considered a quality start in RBI?  6 runs or less through 4?

Good question. I think 6 runs is a good number for a 4-inning start or more. I can try and figure out how to input that in the database - the database is still a learning process for me when doing the leader reports.

*And here is the league team leader stats and all the stats for each team: G:\Ny mapp (2)\WebBuilder\leaguemain.htm

League Team Leaders attached then. I'll have to figure this out so everyone can look at all the individual and team stats.

Same ROM with errors set on 5. I'll give a 1-hour time window for any lineup changes. I am having fits trying to make the local/shared htm file so that everyone can see it and that it would open up like a normal link for everyone to view. Worse comes to worse, I'll go excel and the google spreadsheet so everyone can view their team stats.

A couple of those were great games.  Looks like there's a logjam for first place now.
