2020 super fantasy rbi - rules & lineup thread

The streaming software was a critical problem. It decided not to load, yet, the my computer camera was turned on. So that was enough with that experiment - threw it away, along with the Twitch software. My laptop just isn't a good host for that.

So we'll run the Arcade Fantasy RBI League first. The ROM is still available so all that is needed is to redo the schedule and then start the league old school style. I'll reopen or start a new thread for that.

As far as the Super League, that will come after the Arcade league and thus give me time to look into a new laptop capable of running Twitch streams without a hiccup. Nomaaa's league will pick up right where it left off from. The Arcade league will reboot.

There will be a fresh reboot to this Super Fantasy RBI season. Unfortunately, nomaaa no longer has the game files and weeks 2 and 3 were taken from YouTube. However, I am considering using week 1 and scoring them from the YT videos - I'm actually leaning that way ... sort of. Unless you guys want a fresh reboot, then we'll go in that direction with a new schedule. The playoff format will be just like the Arcade season, and the season will be 18 games - no divisions.

There is a huge pool of free agents and I will be working on the pitching list of free agents unless nomaaa can put it back up again on the google sheet tab that he had. I can say now that the waiver wire will be active all year. I can also say that I am dropping Tiant and acquiring Guidry. Also being dropped will be 2B Rizutto while 2B Lmbrdz has been acquired.

The season will begin about 1 week after the FRBI Arcade WS, if not sooner. I just need to get the teams and players into my database as well as the league.

Unfortunately for BeefMaster, his invisible green uniform has been deemed unsuitable for the standards, rules, and regulations implemented by Lord Vader. He gives orders, I follow. So scoring games for BeefMaster's team won't be a challenge.

Beef, can you please alter the invisible uniforms so they can be seen? I just won't be able to take scoring your games and losing track of your players. Sorry. Failure to comply will result with Lord Vader altering your uniforms.

I can't score all the games since weeks 2-3 don't exist anymore. So they can't be counted and I won't allow games without stats to exist. It doesn't matter to me, but if nobody else speaks up, then we'll just go with a fresh reboot and schedule. 18-game season it will be and as a reminder, same playoff format as the Arcade version. The Super FRBI league won't go as fast as the Arcade league because I'm heading to the US for my annual 6-week vacation starting October 1. So the first month we'll see 2 slates a week, then once I get to the US, it'll be 1 slate a week or every 9-10 days - I'll try and go as fast as I can when I can during my vacation. However, that can go faster depending on my travel plans during my stay and how much I force myself to rest. Then there's football season, so that'll slow things down.

Okay, it's done! A fresh reboot it will be! I'm going to do a preview of the season and cover all the teams and players via Twitch and will have it on YouTube. I'll be able to use the Arcade season stats and all the historical stats I have dating back 15 years. The big question is will Mantle report his monster year and will anyone even come close to his 39 HR in 18 games?! I doubt it, but maybe Hack Wilson has a shot if he gets on a magical run like he is now in the Arcade playoffs.

Anyways, will keep you guys updated and rest assured we will start this mother up very shortly. Now it's time for pregame on Twitch for the Blue Foots and Hulksters game 5, 6, and 7.

No probs there. Do you remember why you erased the entire SP/RP tab on the google sheets page? Would be cool to have that again since it'll save a lot of time on my end. I don't get why you erased all the pitchers taken and available. The batters tab is up. If you don't remember and can't recover the entire pitching list, then I'll eventually take on that painstaking task.

Before I approve all transactions and that we are doing a reboot, you may switch to the NES version of Fernando instead of the arcade version of Fernando. The NES Fernando doesn't have a glitch and the NES version of Fernando is a starter - the arcade version is a relief pitcher. I would like to see the Arcade version of Fernando out of the league due to his glitch.

Ryno will be keeping Nando, and he may take the NES version of Nando since he doesn't have a glitch like the Arcade version. I really don't like having glitch Nando in the league, so I allowed it.

it probably wasn't on purpose. i'll check it out. maybe it's hidden or something
