Blue Foot Boobies take 2 from Exposé. Snider has career night and Blue Foots pitching shined. Base running mistakes, Mantle's off night in game 1, and Steve Sax's costly error in game 2  contribute to the 0-2 hole the Exposé find themselves in.

Nomaaaa's huge lineup change pays off. Snider thrives in the cleanup spot with a 9/10, 9 RBI, 6 R, 4 doubles, and 2 HR combined numbers from games 1 & 2. Fernando picks up save in game 1 that ended on a Steve Sax flyball double play from RF - Mathews thrown out on a shallow flyball to end the game with the Exposé down 16-14 and threatening with runners on second and third.

Mantle returns to form in game 2 with 2 homeruns - the second gave the Exposé a 16-15 lead in the 9th. In the bottom of the 9th, Williams leads off and reaches 1st base on an error by Steve Sax. Frank Robinson then ends it with walk-off HR.

Need to shake things up.  Darky, can you move Rabbitt to the leadoff spot and move everyone down.  And move Reese to the bottom of the bench.

Thanks.

I'll try and do one that is somewhat structured and coherent. The thing is I may be a bit tied up before gametime, so the pregame may just be really brief. If I do go expanded pregame, it'll be a good 15 minutes since there is so much to cover. I'll need to prepare right now while I have time. Next round of box scores imminent.

U7 use 8th inning 6-run rally to break 10-10 time, hold on for game 1 victory. Lazzri contributes with solid production from 8-hole - delivers 4 RBI to lead the U7 hitters.

Tiant has career night in game 2, doesn't allow a run until the 6th and only surrenders 8 runs off 17 hits in CG impressive win. Kingman and Lopes carry BeefMaster offense with two homeruns each. Series tied at 2 heading into tonight.

I mentioned this before, and that was the error setting will be at 12 for all game 3's of the playoffs. So cross them fingers.

Marichal and Vida shutdown #1 scoring Exposé, allow only 4 runs. Blue Foot Boobies sweep Exposé and advance to final four - will face #1 Hulk Hogans in 7 game series.

Snider hit .786 in three games, Marichal leads all playoff starting pitchers with 6.55 ERA, only allows 8 earned runs and 16 hits in 11 innings pitched. Blue Foot Boobies peaking and have recaptured early season look. Nomaaa's lineup change and choice to go with Marichal as SP#1 dubbed "All The Right Moves" in social media sphere.

Montreal Exposé bats go silent entire series. Only hit .438 and averaged 11.3 runs a game, both far below season average. Season MVP Mantle only hit 2 HR in 3 games, drove in only 6 runners. Despite solid pitching by the Exposé pitching staff, the offense mysteriously didn't show up. Expert suggest Shooty put too much pressure on players, created tense clubhouse.

U7 outscore Sides of Beef 37-10 and outhit Sides of Beef 57-29 to muscle their way into Final Four. Niekro pitched CG gem in game one and Hunter and Niekro combined to shut down BeefMasters in game two.

Horner hit .727, 8 HR, and registered a whopping 17 RBI in the four games. Phil Niekro second in the playoffs with 7.58 ERA, amazingly only allowed 16 ER in 19 innings. Hunter also was spectacular with 10.64 ERA in 4 games and only allowed 13 earned runs in 11 innings pitched.

Sides of Beef played miserably at home once again and finish the year 2-8 at home. Offense was no where to be seen in games 3 and 4. Base running blunders and double plays plagued the BeefMasters and thwarted potential rallies to make the games more competitive.

U7 will now face The Empire in a best of seven series in the Final Four. The two teams split during the regular season.

Well the Final Four preview turned out to be a disaster. I forgot to switch scenes which means switch windows and show the different pages with stats, lineups, and other things. So my pretty face was on the entire time instead of looking at the numbers and players and teams on different windows. My bad, holy shit.

Gametime has been bumped up to 2pm dee nee time tomorrow. I'll update the schedule now.

Big day as we begin the Final Four! I'm expecting some good games today since anyone can win this from what I've seen on the simulation practice/scouting games. However, once the bright lights go on and we are live, the ROM becomes self-aware and tunes in with the team owners and the players in the game, so it knows who's hot and who's not. The ghost in the machine is real!

Hulk Hogans score 8 runs in the first, Mike Scott does the rest with masterful CG victory, allowing only 6 runs off 16 hits. Davey Johnson collects 5 hits (2 doubles/HR) and drives in 4, Musial goes 4/5 with 3 doubles and 5 RBI. Hulksters flexed their muscles in non-competitive game.

Game 2 turned out to be a thriller. Blue Foot Boobies overcome 11-7 deficit to carry a 14-11 lead into the bottom of the 9th. Down 13-14 with 2 outs and a runner on second, Dave Righetti delivered a slow rolling triple to left-center field to even up the contest at 14. Jimmy Foxx then smacked the first pitch he saw from RP Dizzy Dean into the LF cheap seats for the game winning walkoff homerun. And just like that, the Hulksters find themselves with a comfortable 2-0 series lead as the series will now move to Baja, California, home of the Blue Foot Boobies.
