After a lifetime of searching, I have finally found a place where my love of the simplest and greatest baseball game is revered, not ridiculed.  I always believed, deep down, that there was a place where there were people who loved homers that go through, foul pops that bounce off of fans heads, and a musical score that is second to no Broadway musical I can think of.  Your dedication to this great game makes me feel a little more normal, a little less stupid for spending thousands of hours hours watching little fat men run, pitch, hit and throw.  You have inspired me to make it my mission to seek out and purchase the stories RBI arcade machine.  I envy those of you who already own one.  My favorite RBI player, for those of you wondering, is the great Darrell Evans.  Nobody in the league hits that pitch on the outside corner for a homer like him.  My favorite pitcher, believe it or not, is Bruce Hurst, who paints balls on the corners like Rembrandt.  If any of you are ever in the Toronto area and looking for a game, feel free to drop me a line.  I am anxious to test my skills against players who are undoubtedly the best in the world.  Until then, keep your throws low and your boinks with the bases empty.

this is a terrible thread...RBI is about drinking beer and kicking butt.  Its not about sounding poetic.

Maybe there's some sort of gay league out there that most are unaware of.

Ya know guys, I felt the same way although I didn't write something with so many metaphors. I just wrote a song. I guess I am a loser too.

And that's why RBI is my only friend.

Welcome...

The common theme here is a "strange attraction" (as my bro puts it) to RBI Baseball.  Some write songs, some write poetic messages, some spend too much time creating a website devoted to it.  Tis all good in the hood...
