Great Dodger infielder, but more remembered in RBI Baseball community for being in the bench in the Houston team, when he had to be a starter.

The Raiders are a successful organization

My man! The question I have is: where should he be in the Houston lineup? (I like to keep Hatcher in)

Gantry

I always put Lopes in at the leadoff spot for Hatcher.

I find Hatcher to be the worst player on Houston, but man looking at their page now:

You can make a case for Walling being the worst given his 750 power over 759, plus Hatcher is way faster. I honestly wouldn't have guessed that Walling was the worst power on the team.

That said I always prefer lefties for that lefty hit, but maybe that isn't as useful or reliable in curve.

It's been a long while. Also surprised with Walling being total and complete ass.

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

True, there is no use for Walling. Or, I'd argue, Ashby. Lopes is the best lead-off guy, but....

Hachter is quite fast, as you say, and gets on base enough for me to justify keeping him in. Besides, it leaves me with Thon and Puhl to use as pinch hitters.

I shuffle around Houston's order a bit, but my typical line-up goes something like this:

1. Hatcher
2. Cruz
3. Garner (or Lopes)
4. Davis
5. Bass
6. Doran
7. Reynolds
8. Lopes (or Garner)

Not a bad way to do it. Looking at the page and the numbers, Thon isn't a huge step up from Hatcher so those 24 extra power points for him may not be worth giving up the 10 speed points. There's a good case keeping Thon for a clutch pinch hit situation where you get his bonus for the first at bat, instead of "wasting" it on the first at bat where you have bases empty and a completely fresh pitcher.
