Gantry

It was time to get one up:

http://dee-nee.com/rbi/hallofshame.shtml

This is version 1.0, please point out any mistakes or things I missed.  Got very lazy by the end, took much longer than I thought.  Digest, enjoy, critique...

Gantry, is that George Brett deal really true about breaking his toe?  If so, I never knew it, that's hilarious!
I hope he rests in peace, the trouble is the fellow owes me forty bucks"

Everything on there is true....  Some real doozies too

Learned a lot about Kevin Mitchell while making this page.  Going to change his nickname to cupcake...

unbelievable!! we're going nuts over this page at work!

Gwynn3k

hey gantry,
the page looks great... you could add for pedro guerrero that he was running around and doing cocaine with nicole brown simpson before her ex-husband turned her into a pez dispenser.   but oj is still looking for the real killer.

great quote from john kruk just after he retired when asked, what is your typical day like now that you have given up baseball?   Kruk's reply,  "i get up early and go take a nap on the couch".

cupcake huh,  i know that kevin mitchell is on the top of my list of guys not to fuck with.    the guy is insane.

Kevin Mitchell is definitely one tough guy, and I never knew anything about his actions before I did the research for the page.  I always knew he had some weird injuries, but I think the rest is even weirder...

Gwynn3k

as far as the skipper goes,  it should be noted that he was slightly intoxicated and drove his speed boat under a pier causing his passengers' heads to be annihilated.    good times.

Thanks for the tips, I'll add those once I find some "internet proof"

Looks like Pedro was not with Nicole but OJ's post-Nicole girlfriend, but the story itself is good enough for the shame

Gwynn3k

either way there is nothing funnier than the 911 recording of OJ talking to the opperator about his girlfriend running around doing cocaine with "paydro gurerrrrooo".  then, when the opperator finds out that it is OJ, she blows him off.  it is classic.   too bad it wasnt nicole.

Pedro's little incident with OJ's girlfriend was added...

Also added more about the Ojeda/Olin/Crews incident.  It appears that Crews was driving the boat, not Ojeda.  Guess the nickname will have to be changed...

Fantastic job!!!  It was freaking hilarious.  I never heard that Mitchell story about the cat. That's top on the list for me.  I got a lot of stares at work when I was laughing out loud when I read it.

How about the fact that Kevin Mitchell eats Vicks Vaporub.
He didn't get arrested for it, but should.
You're going down, chainsaw.

Gantry

That's fucking nasty...  Found one scant mention of it on google groups, which makes it good enough for teh Hall Of Shame!  Good thing I'm not an investigative reporter..

sucka free

i  keep reading this over and over....I can't get enough of it. By the way, who has been busted for drugs more, Strawberry or Steve Howe?

Gantry

Howe had a big lead, but Strawberry's gained some serious ground in the last couple years.  Pretty damn close...

vgp100

Strawberry had a little more violence in him. That doesn't make him tough though. He did get slammed in a brawl by Von Hayes, of all people.

here's a link for baseball drug suspension.  However it does not include any offseason violations.  83' and 86' must have been great years in the bigs
