EDIT: WHICH 3 PITCHERS DID THIS?

JoeDirt

Actually, Blyleven is a pretty solid guess for the first question...I'd maybe even put him up there ahead of Speier and maybe even Buckner...

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm a dumbass...you already said the answer has been guessed.   :P

good guesses, but not quite.  I have the luxury of having looked this one up, and I can tell you that there are 4 or 5 who have thrown 8 or more in a season.

JoeDirt

clemens and somebody?

I was wondering why you guys were guessing 2 at a time.

I can't believe I fucked up the question.

There were 3

Ryan and Blyleven are two of them, so you're still looking for one; and it is kind of a tough one.

JoeDirt

So I got two of 'em on the first guess...!

ummm.....Gooden?  That's probably too obvious to be correct...

Yup; I'm banning myself from asking any more trivia.  Too disorganized.

There's three guys... Nolan Ryan, Bert Blyleven, and _________.

Do you guys want hints?

Fuckin' Don Sutton, I bet...he's from the old days and was good enough to make the HOF (although I admittedly don't know a ton about his career)... ???

I hate Don Sutton.  He's a no-talent, geri curled ass clown. But I guess he can't be all that bad. He's in the HOF.  But when I think of Sutton, I think below average fastball with zero movement and a shitty changeup.

Because those of us who have posted questions, have posted incomplete ones... I've said it before and I'll say it again; I certify myself "Retarded for the Day."  *STAMP*

Double stamped it, quitsies.

The answer to my question was Bill Buckner. He played in one game in 1969 and 22 games in 1990. Here are Buckner's stats

I should have been more clear that I meant Nintendo RBI and not RBI Arcade.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.
