I had to take a six month hiatus from RBI after the last COTUT.  I feel this leave of absence is necessary to remain sane after watching/playing hundreds of games over two consecutive days.  However, RBI will once again be flowin' at IWU this upcoming semester.  With a blowoff semester ahead and solid competition from my roommate, there's no better practice then daily games of hardcore RBI in anticipation of the Ohio tournament.

I shall be more ready than ever.

why on earth would you possibly try to sabotage our tournament?  does it anger you that people want to gather and compete in the game you love?

there's nothing soft about the talent that this tourney is drawing.  you don't even know who playing--and even if you did, you don't know the abilities of those people.  

what gives?

this tourney has already drawn the top 4 finishers of the COTUT--the kick ass Chicago tourney.

Hey guys...for those of you considering flying in for this event, Delta just announced that they are slashing their prices big time.  I'd check into it asap while the rates are low.  The airport code for Columbus is CMH.  The dates are June 24 (Fri) to June 26 (Sun)...

I've been there.  I hear ya.  I said the exact same thing about the COTUT.  So did my buddy, who won the COTUT.  The fact is that if you're used to playing with 1 SP per game and are suddenly given 2 SP, you have a huge advantage.  That's in part to why we both finished in the money.

I just ask that you try to be open minded about it...maybe you and Blyleven or somebody can play a few 2 SP games and see whatcha think?
