My phone rang this evening. It was a double ring, meaning long distance.  I checked the caller id and it said MA.  I don't know anyone from Massachusetts.  But I picked it up anyway:

Me: "Hello?"
Caller: "Is this the one they call fknmclane?"
Me: "Uh, yeah."
Caller: "Is this Mark fkn McLane?"
Me: "Uh, yeah, this is Mark."
Caller: "Dude, it's malnuboy.  I'm drunk."

I talked to the kid for maybe five minutes and now I'm so excited I can't stop shitting my pants and I don't even care.  Can't wait to get to Columbus.

Yup, he was with MikeD, rdub and Baines (he apparently still has my number from last year) and all were well on their way to a solid drunken stupor.  Malnu was so excited, it was great.
