the lay off of RBI to the tune of about 3 1/2 months had my game in the crapper for the wedding.   

i played alright vs goreds, but managed to blow a good 3 run lead late to mini-soda.   for the life of me couldnt remember the little nuances of the boston staff...and clemmens got hammered in a  closer role and i lost.  clemens has no drop ball(hurst and stanley do though).....i now know that.     IIRC goreds socked one of those drop balls out that is still yet to fkn land.

so i immersed myself in RBI study once i got home, and seem to have all my notes back in my head.  even the damn california subs were sketchy.

Gantry got RAPED by Gary Pettis.....1st at bat of the game in ATG, and pettis went yard.  2nd at bat for Pettis and he knocks it off the right center wall for double.  Pettis got to stay in all game.  a homer will give him that lee-way.  couple that with stinky sullivans 2nd AB homer off Mclane, and im thinking ive got 2 of the best embarassment delivering moments ever to my credit.

Looks like fort dodge will also have a RBI @ a local bar night similar to Broilers set up.  folks dont wanna play for money, but word on the street is that they'll come out and play just for the hell of it(and to get out away from the wife and kids).

I just purchased a nes controller on ebay to use on my computer. The shit sucks trying to play with my keyboard. Anyways, I dropped 50 bucks to ensure that I was the highest bidder. Well, I won.

Anyways, I made this purchase in the event that I magically decide to come to the tourney. Just count me out till JoeDirt's secretary gets the money in the RBI Headquarters account.

Here is the deal, I sense that there are maybe two players who have a chance against me. The others are shit.
I am more than confident that I am the best rbi player in the world...with Sf of course and most other teams except Bo. I hate Bo. I would be really surprised if I were not to win the tourney. I have seven tourneys under my belt, and I am undefeated outside the state of California....played a lot of rbi on road trips in the minors.

I would stand to lose a shitload of money if I were to skip out on the games missed in my Swedish League. I have all kinds of incentive bullshit....especially playing every game and so forth. So if anyone can magically come up with a death certificate, that would be great. Also, I really want to win it all, and I would be deeply disturbed if my team missed the playoffs cause of my abscence being the deciding factor...yes I am that good.

But, I would love to meet everybody and most importantly stop talking the talk and WALK THE WALK.....as well as make some of that money back.
