Hmm, I guess I felt it necessary to respond but didn't exactly know how to respond. 

One one hand, the post I responded to implies that I am anti-democracy--something that our country was founded upon.  But on the other hand, defen was probably just kidding around.  But then again, he did make post right when the thread looked like it was getting back on track--the tourney, perhaps derailing any tourney talk momentum that was building.  However, defen has helped me personally so very much with the tourney website--how could I possibly call him out?  Even so, the implication of the post is that the tourney won't be as good as it could because I won't allow music--thus possibly detering people from entering said tourney.  Yet again, defen has not ruled out participation in the tourney for himself, so I'd be silly to reprimand him while that decision is still on its way...

ha.  Yeah, sorry about that.  I had no intention of doing so, but because Azz is a hotel GM and can really hook us up, I think we should do it.  I think it really will go a long way with the hotel being cool with us having the tourney there.  Last year, Extended Stay America wasn't the nicest at the COTUT.

Extended Stay sucks on balls, I used them once in Philly and when my flight got in at 1 am or some ungodly hour, they told me they were full and put me in another room 20 miles on the north side of Philly.  Thank you extended stay america!  Go eat a dick.

As for the Hotel deal... www.qualityinn.com/hotel/oh042 Tell me what you guys think, obviously it's ultimately up to Joe, but this is .4 Miles from the airport, we can book suites at 39 bucks a night (plus tax, any occupancy tax in Columbus?), the Suites have it all, Microwave, Refridgerator, Two Queen Beds, Sofa Bed, seperate rooms, essentially with a cot we could get four to a room, and still avoid spooning, I'll be able to give them a call and get any more details (what the chances are of them giving us connecting rooms, a four room square on the top floor in the corner so we won't get yelled at for being loud, all that shit), I'll get all that info Thursday night from their night auditor...

Yup, the link worked just fine.  I entered for a two-night stay and that was the nightly rate it gave me.  I did click on the "internet rate" special as well.

I hope he can get a discount...that would make it much better.  Then again, even if Azz cannot get a discount, these are suites we're talking about for only $10 more.  Not a bad deal at all.

Summer rate is, I believe, 85, and that tends to fluctuate as the summer rolls along...

There should be a link for "Enter special rate ID" enter 00062195, and you can see the 39 dollar rate for late June, me thinks it's the only hotel closer than 30 miles from Columbus that offers the discount...If you choose to reserve a room that way, you gotta fill out this pointless discount card, which I can send to you (boatloads if you so choose)...Let me know...

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow night, and get the rest of the information....

I just got off a, literally, 1:09 phone call with the night auditor at the Comfort Suites Airport out there in Columbus...

We can get the rooms, in a block, two queen beds, sofa bed in each room (they only have one rollaway bed, so, unless you want to spoon, it'll be max three people per room), so that's all set up, figure out who's sharing rooms, and how many we'll need, andwe can get the reservations rolling

Now for the important shit (I apologize, but this will be pretty long)

Strip club five minutes away from the hotel...However, this man came in and yelled at her one night saying "If I wanted to see chicks dancing in bikini's I'll go to the beach" but, this chick that was working used to go to strip clubs and assured me there were plenty of good ones within ten minutes of the hotel...Apparently there's a "Brewery" district in Columbus that has plenty of bars...Joe, I suggest you check out this airport one night, between 11PM and 7AM, this chick, Patience was her name, sounded like at least a seven, but she's quite religious (Used to go five days a week in high school, now every sunday), has a one year old daughter, boyfriend she met on Match.com, he's in the Coast Guard (Which, apparently there is a coast in ohio??)...She's 24, I'm still working on convincing her to break up with her boyfriend, and wait until late June to hook up with anyone again, and based on her lack of being annoyed, and continuing to not hang up the phone, sounds like  a break up and four month hiatus is imminent now

What else...The hotel is literally on the airport, along with five other hotels (big airport, eh?) she just baked peanut butter cookies (the Reese's pieces kind?), which, by her own description are the "best...cookies....ever...", so, she bakes, she's a self described, gorgeous, prissy chick...Sadly I couldn't find her thing on match.com, but if someone else wants to check it out, her username is Hopefw03 (I think) but she hadn't been on since Nov. and I guess they purge accounts after they're idle for a while (?). She recently wrecked her car, she's going skiing today for the first time...And I believe I've put some doubt into whether or not her boyfriend is faithful...Oh, and I share a birthday with her father (November 4th)

That's about it, and she never heard of this Joey Cordiano character, but she used to play Super Mario...and she's going to get another night auditor at another hotel to check out this, and Joe's Ohio.rbicentral site...Maybe we shouldn't talk about rape and the first front desk chick we meet, or things like that, eh?

Also, explained that we're all losers, most are borderline alcoholics, mentioned that a few of you guys are Med Students/Cancer researchers, that are "quite the catch"...and things of that nature...

So...there's the update...She's going to call me again next Friday (as that's when are schedules mesh again), if you guys want, I'm sure I'll have an update on her relationship, and Joe will have a few surveillance quality photos of her...
