Let me be the first to say welcome to the RBI forum, Kimrari.  My friends and I play several other NES games.  We are avid fans of the Mega Man Series, the Contra Series, the Castlevania series, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Zelda, Tetris, Galaga, Pac-Man, TMNT II, Rampage, and RC Pro Am to name a few.

 We're just all hardcore RBI fans supporting the world's greatest game (esp. two player game).

while rbi is the all-time gretest game, i believe in the saying "variety is the spice of life" so at times i find myself playing mike tyson's punchout, super mario bros 3, tecmo bowl, baseball stars, contra, snake rattle n roll (great game, very few know about it), and marble madness.  i also remeber an NES game simply tilted "HOCKEY", i've never owned it but i remember  playing it for hours on end at friends' houses when i was a youngn'

why didn't i think of that!!!  My buddy and I have put on numerous tecmo tournaments in our area with a very strong turn out.  It'b be great to play other players....just like with RBI

seriously, nobody has even mentioned Tetris.  Pop that sucker in there and see if you can get up to 191 lines, let me know if anyone has topped that line total.  The only negative with the game is that its not two players.  Ken Griffey Jr. on Super Nintendo is also coo, but unfortunately, it does not top RBI

I have logged many hours in NES Tetris, good call Matty.  Actually, my hours logged in Tetris may exceed RBI.  I can sit down and zone out for hours!

PS - I have gotten 230+ lines starting from level 19.  Once you hit Level 29 though, it's too fast to play...

I've gotten over 191 lines before, but not on the NES Tetris. It is two-player btw, if you've got the version made by Tengen. But alas, there was an odd discrepancy over who owned the rights to produce console versions of the game, and Nintendo won. As much as I love Nintendo, I really wish Tengen's Tetris wasn't pulled off the shelves. It's a better game hands-down, and last time I checked, copies were easily going for $100-ish.

Since this thread seems to be about what other *NES* games you play, well, there really aren't any others I play regularly. I beat Startropics and A Boy and his Blob again the other day for the hell of it.

My buddy and I saw LOTR 2 last night.  That movie fucking kicked ass.  The scenes were incredible.  Today we decided to combine cheap beer and the orginal zelda together and see what happens.  I forget everything about that game so it'll be fun to go find everything again.  BTW, we will eventually get too fucked up from drinking because that game takes forever so we may need some tips.  Does anyone remember what bushes to burn?

Search up on google, there must be a ton of sites out there for the original zelda.  RBI has 4 sites and about 20x as many people play Zelda...
