Fantasy League Week 5 - Oc at St

Game Summary:

The Stiffs once again stood tall, as they ran their Fantasy RBI League record to 5-0 with a convincing 21-11, eight-inning rout over The OC in a game played as part of a Tuesday day-night doubleheader at Tengen Stadium.

The Stiffs turned the tide of a close game in the fourth inning by scoring nine runs on nine hits, capped by a home run by pinch-hitter Chris Speier. Jack Clark led The Stiffs' offense with two home runs, but balance was once again key for the team. Every starting position player had at least two hits, drove in a run and scored a run. Bobby Grich and Jose Canseco each also homered and drove in three for The Stiffs.

The OC's offense was the opposite of The Stiffs. Outside of the one through four hitters in the line-up, the rest of the team was 4-21 with two RBI and two runs. George Bell shined again for The OC (2-3), hitting two home runs and driving in six. Kirby Puckett added three doubled and scored four runs.
