Great ROM, 1st game lost to Hell 10-0 in the first (with Ho) then lost to Heaven 10-0 in the 3rd (with MN).  I was playing with the keyboard, with controller I could do a little better, but damn it is tough to hit.

I think if I get used to hitting I might be able to win a game.

My 2nd try with Minnesota was much better (lost 17-7 after but was only down 11-7 going into the bottom of the 8th before Viola ran out of Gas.  I will beat HELL using Minnesota( which is basically the opposite of Hell, weather wise)

I believe he's saying he prefers modified ROMs to the original set of teams that came with the game.  Nobody's mentioned any of the RBI sequels on this thread, at least that I've seen.

Look at the stats in Nightwulfs editor.  The teams are completely uneven.

All that I am saying is - it is unfair.  I made a rom where the teams have practically the same stats.  It is different though.

THere is 8 slots on your team and I gave every team the same 8 slots for power, speed, and contact.  

So the number 1 guy on atlanta could have a 14 contact - but not the yankees.   But someone elses on the yankees has a 14 contact.

Now that is an even game.


With the original, it isn't like that.  So yes- the original rbi did a great job in paving the way - but it is not better than an edited rom.

There is no reason to change something that is perfect.  And if you cant stand a little challenge (using Houston) then you dont belong here in the first place.  Go play some other game.  Obviously one that isnt perfect.
