This is kind of exciting, since it's the first trade of the season.

The OC has traded Terry Pendleton to Da ShitPaws in exchange for Mike Schmidt.

Also, the Creamy Pirates have released Rob Wilfong and have signed Paul Molitor to a 15-day contract.

Rosters attached for this week...

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

The Creamy Pirates have 24 hours to explain themselves, this is just unthinkable...

That is not as bad as the trade.

Wow, Wilfong was sucking, I was thinking about picking him up, but not hitting .267.  But The OC got the steal of the year for that trade.

- The trade deadline is before the start of the Week 12 games (tenatively set for Jan. 3, 2005, but that might change with the holidays and my schedule).

- Wilfong, frankly, couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat for me. I tried him at different positions, and nothing seemed to work. I still think he's a great player and a great person, and I wish nothing but the best for him in the future. We just felt that we needed to go in a different direction as a team.
