How many of you guys pinch hit for Boone regularly?  We usually keep him in as he's been known to be a clutch performer.

I usually leave Boone in for one at bat and then I'll sub in George Hendrick if Boone doesn't get anywhere in his first AB.  Hendrick is good for a monster shot off the bench!

Leave him in for 2-3 at bats.  If he's sucking it up, then you gotta sub him after that.  Although sometimes it's too late for the sub to be productive.  I should probably take him out after two at bat failures.

I hate boone and i sub him right away for R. Jones.  I also put Hendrick in for grich right away.  I dont like grich or boone, nor do i trust them in any situation.  they both are bad, and hendrick/jones are good, so i switch them first inning.  i only keep in pettis for the opposite field hit and maybe get on base.  bunting works sometimes too.

i used to sub burleson in for boone regularly, (and jones for grich, and wilfong for pettis) but i hated having only hendrick on the bench for the late innings. so for the last few months i've kept boone in, and he does surprisingly well for me.....he actually had a two-homerun game the other day.

All Hendrick at the eight spot.  Potsie goes for the Burly Sac there....
