Who do you guys think that the last guy standing from RBI in the Major Leagues will be?

sucka free

this is always a very compelling question...but my money is on Burks

vgp100

I bet Clemens pitches until his arm falls off.
Even though I can't stand him.
You're going down, chainsaw.

Gantry

I don't see Orosco retiring, he'll die on the day of his retirement..

ericdavisfan

I agree partly with Gantry, but I'd have to believe that he'll be cut before getting a chance to retire.  My vote for last man standing goes to the Rocket.  He'll try to climb as high on the wins chart as he can

Gantry

I forgot about being cut, they may shorten his career a bit.  I bet he'll go to Japan or the California Penal League or somewhere after that...

ericdavisfan

Ha, ha...California Penal League....classic line.  Well, now that I think about it, Orosco did pitch for the Mets AND Dodgers...he might fit nicely in that league!

Krukow

Benito has a shot. Hell, he's 102 years old and still catching!

The guy is a tank, although he's starting to look like James Edward Olmos more and more each day.

He'll head over to the american leauge again and become a DH.

It's either him or Burks.

GDavis

hahaha, good call on Olmos.

I think it'll be Burks by the way.

Gantry

Very good call on Olmos, who I believe was an NIU grad.  "Hey Kimo..."

I don't see anyonen picking up Benito after his catching days are over, his offensive numbers aren't exactly DH material, espcially 2-3 years from now...

jcbball86

either burks or clemens, francos wont make it, santiago maybe, orosco is already 45, right? i dont think he has many more years, galarraga hopefully quits soon

sucka free

We really should start some sort of forum poll where you have to predict the last player to play in the MLB and when they retire.  The closest one wins something.....like an RBI cartridge signed by Gantry&Co.

Gantry

I wouldn't consider any autograph of mine a prize, but it's a good idea.  Some sort of pool would be cool....

vgp100

Maybe even an RBI death pool. I don't think it would be fair for anyone to have Strawberry.

RBI death pool???  I'd put my money on Kevin Michtell.  He's due for an accident

ericdavisfan

I saw Andres Gallaraga last night in a game against the Dodgers.  I'm betting that he's the next to go.  If he lasts the season, I'd bet he'll retire right after.
