The Raiders are a successful organization

I hate reserve auctions, never know how much the thing will really go for.  Haven't seen on awhile though, this may be your chance.   nightwulf?  Gerlost?

Like I've got $400!  I don't even have the $10 in cash for the fantasy baseball entry fee yet.  I will, though, after this weekend.

I don't understand why more sellers don't post the reserve price.  I assume that the only reason they do it is so they don't have to pay for the auction if the bid doesn't go high enough.
"Thank you Mr. Toilet Bowl..thank you for being cool on the side...you're the only one that understands me."

More sellers don't do it since eBay charges a fee to put a reserve on it, if it does not sell.
If I lived near there, I would put in a bid for $100.
If he has the reserve higher than that, you are not obligated to buy it, even if it is the high bid.
In the past, I have sent an email to the user, to ask what the reserve is set at.  In all cases, they have replied w/ the reserve price.

What I don't understand is why the sellers don't just post what the reserve price is to begin with, not why sellers don't use the reserve price(I'm still not sure if I'm making sense).  I was wrong though, I thought that if the item went unsold, the seller got their reserve fee back, but they don't.

Some sellers do post the reserve.  For example, when I used to sell baseball cards on ebay, I would put something in the description like, "To protect my investment, I have set the reserve at $100."

Like I've got $400 lying around. :P

I agree with e-mailing the seller and asking the reserve price. They've always been happy to let me know.
