Mike Schmidt?

I'd say Potatoes, but he struck out too much to be hitting into DPs.

I still want to know which of the 4 didn't strike out Tim Raines.

OK I spent 20 minutes on retrosheet finding Raines Ks by Johnson and Clemens, I don't have to spend another 20 on Carlton and Ryan because I know those happened, I am vindicated :)

Cal Ripken (350). Somewhere there's a thread with the all various records set by RBIers.

OK, here's a fresh one: what RBIer holds the record for the most HRs hit at the Kingdome by a visitor?

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Yes, it was Brian Downing, with 19. Cal Ripken and Carlton Fisk were second, each with 18. (Read the story.)

I may have already mentioned this at some point, but I'll ask anyway...

Which RBIer, at the time of his retirement, held the major league record for indoor homeruns?

Kent Hrbek?

We have a winner - he started with the Twins right around the time the Metrodome opened, plus he got to play in Seattle a few times a year.

I'm not 100% sure he still has the record - the latest I heard that he had it was shortly after he retired in '94.  It's possible that someone (Griffey Jr. is the most likely I can think of) passed him after then.

This has to be more difficult to keep track of now with all the retractabe stadiums.

Gantry

This is a great thread, keep it up...  Going onsite to customers really cuts down on the daily dee-nee time...

Gerlost

I've got a really pointless one:

Of the RBI position players, which two have the most career strikeouts pitching?

ultimate7

Good Q Gerlost,

1 is Gary Gaetti I think

I'll guess hJose Oquendo for the other

Canseco and Boggs?

BeefMaster

I'll guess Boggs - I know he pitched at least once, although I don't know whether he was any good.

Of the players we've listed I checked, 2 of them have 2 Ks (Oquendo and Boggs), not sure if they are the ones

Nacho

I have to agree with Oquendo and Boggs.  Not sure if anyone else besides Canseco has ever pitched in a game.  That would be another good trivia question.

ultimate7

Gaetti has

I looked through some others but no pitching record for DeCinces, Grich, Spike Owen, or Greg Gagne don't know why I thought those guys would be likely.
