I remember when Pucket singed 3 yr/ 9  mil, I think he became the first 3 million per year.

Reggie may have been the first $1 million

You're correct - I just found a list on ESPN.com from '99 with the highest paid players in baseball since Kirby became the first $3M/year man in 1989.  There are several RBIers on it: Will Clark, Mattingly, Canseco, Clemens, and Ryno.

Another easy one. Who was the first RBI'er to make $1M/season?

Nolan Ryan?

You sir are correct.  He was the first player ever, to make > $1M/year.

Off the top of my head, another easy-ish one:

Name the player who had more than twice as many career homeruns than career doubles.

No cheating.

Without looking it up, I'd guess McGwire, since he was pretty much immobile and hit lots of homers. Then again, it could be something wacky like a pitcher who happened to hit a few homers.

It is McGwire.  Nice job, BeefMaster.

It has to be Mac.  He only had about 1600 career hits with almost 600 home runs.  I doubt that 30% of his remaining hits were doubles.

Shit, Beef beat me by less than 1 minute.  Fast fucker!!   ;D

Can you name the only RBIer to get a hit for 2 different teams on the same day?

Don Mattingly and Lou Gehrig hit more combined Grand Slams than any two players who played the same position (primarilly) for the same team their entire career.

That's my guess.

Nice job Shitpaw.

Nope.  But Wade is the only player to hit a home run as his 3000th hit, and he is the first player to hit a home run in a Devil Rays uniform.
