Ill admit I started to try and cheat.  But couldnt find anything on my first search.  So Ill drop a guess and say Gary Gaetti.  His flowing locks were a thing of beauty.

Second guess of Jack Clark, I think Gaetti and Clark are related.

RedBarron

I would like to name that player Englebert Dinklenut

Good guesses, but not correct.

Stock

I will guess McGwire.  He has a shitload of homers, and being the statman I am, he probably has the best probability of hitting the most homers on said day(s).

I said it once and I'll say it again - stock is smart

OK folks, without cheating:

Which RBI'er has the AL record for most stolen bases in a season without being caught once?

Big Hath

What about Davey Lopes?

Did he ever play in the AL?  I seem to remember him having a long string of successful attempts.

Holy cow, that's a tough one, I'm guessing someone not super fast but a good base runner.  I'm making 3 guesses since it really could be anyone.

Dawson

Are you serious?

I wouldn't be shocked if it was Andre.

The Hawk would have put up Willie Mays type numbers if not for  the turf in Montreal.

He still managed to swipe 300 bases and mash 400 homers --- a feat duplicated by Barry Bonds and Willie Mays. . . . and no one else (I think. . .It's been a while).

RedBarron

However, the hawk is not the answer to gantry's question.

Big Hath

I guess my problem with the Dawson guess was that he didn't even play in the AL until very late in his career when he could barely move.

I know the answer to this question.

I'll give a hint:

He is from my home state.
