Just looked at this, I'm making the case now that he deserves HOF consideration. 

808 career SBs in 954 attempts
(consecutive years of  90/104, 75/85 70/79, 70/79, 50/55)

Career .385 OBP
2600 Hits
1571 Runs

If it weren't for Rickey, he'd have been the premier lead off hitter of his time.

Lets not forget 843 power, 146 speed, 11 contact.  Those are the most definitely HOF worthy...

I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that he's extremely worthy.  He also is not likely to get elected, unless the stathead community can begin to sway the HOF voters, which seems unlikely.  Just ask Bert Blyleven...
