Discuss...  It's tough to find pic with Burleson during his Angels days.  Seems like he'll be a Red Sox in most people's minds...

how long have you been calling him "burley sac(k)?"

back in olden times, my friends and I called him "burley sack" as well.

Man, we've been calling him that since college I believe.  We started with Burly, then migrated to the Burly Sac...

Is it sac or sack?

We called him Burley Sack as in "Burely Sack of Nuts" --- referencing our belief that Rick had a big hairy set of testicles.


We called Terry Pendleton "Terry TindleWind."   Why, I'm not real sure.

We called Mike Heath "Mike Sheath."   That has an agri meaning, as (according to my buddy) a bull's skin that cover its penis is called a sheath.

These are all quality...  This is part of the reason why I started adding a == Nicknames == section for the player bios I do.  That way people can do a quick edit and add their own. 

We too had a testicular lean with Burly Sac, but for some reason I thought it wall spelled ballsac or ball sac...
