Bible Adventures was the 19th worst game of all time on Seanbaby's Top 20 list:

I love Seanbaby, but we all know that Deadly Towers is a good game and doesn't deserver to be anywhere that list, let alone #1.

Paging nightwulf...

Maybe my Internets is broken, but when I clicky on the link, it says that ET for Atari is the worst game ever and I don't see Deadly Towers on the list.

BeeJay

Deadly Towers is #1 on the original NES worst list.  ET is first on that director's cut list with games from different systems.

did you guys ever try to play that ET game?  Truly dreadful experience.

BeeJay

I never got to play the game, but this music video about it is pretty good.

I hated that game.  I don't know of anything that was more pointless.  I can simply remember playing the game and I'd always wind up in some hole in the ground with no means to get out.

TempoGL

E.T is a horrible game, fortunately I was about 16 the first time I played it, so I wasn't a miserable kid at christmas or anything.

and beejay, that video was pretty sweet.

I never realized they turned White Men Can't Jump into a video game.  There is no possible way, however, that any basketball video game could have been worse than Bill Lambier's Combat Basketball.

Gantry

Tecmo Basketball was probably the worst one that I played...

What?  Tecmo Basketball with all the NBA players was great.

Hoops was horrible

Was Hoops the street ball 2-on-2 game?  I got decent at it eventually (one of my friends had it), but it was a pretty bad game.

I agree on Tecmo NBA, although it got really easy once I learned how to effectively block shots and realized that most guards could make any shot inside the 3-point line.  I don't know whether I've ever lost a game of that.

I kind of liked Bill Laimbeer's Combat Basketball.

Arch Rivals taught me how to play basketball the right way.

E.T. was not that bad, once you figure out how to get out of pits. There were many worse games. Sneak 'n' Peek comes to mind ...

I have vague memories of struggling through ET and then finally beating it, but it was so long ago, I think I was so exicited to get it that I couldn't dislike it too much.

Baines

Tecmo Basketball was fkn great.  It was really alot like RBI in that it was pretty basic but what made it good was the real players.  Also, if I'm not mistaken, Muggsy Bogues could dunk.

Baines may have hit a homer with Baines, yelled Baines and immediately changed into a Baines jersey.

You know who's the best? Baines...

Okay, I just saw those screenshots, and I am completely mystified.  Is it some kind of weird peeping tom game?  Hide & seek in an empty house?  Sneak up on the person in the corner & take 'em up the pooper while they have their eyes closed?

Muggsy could not dunk, but I did average 3 blocks a game with him one season.

It's a hide and seek game. In the two-player game, the idea is that one player physically leaves the room or looks away from the TV or whatever while the other player finds somewhere to hide. IIRC, there were only four or five areas of the house, each with maybe a couple places to hide. There was also a one-player game, where the computer would automagically hide, and would (rather badly) attempt to find you after you hid.

this is a really good game, in terms of rbi also that it was really only fun two player.

the jazz were the best team.
john stockton & jeff malone up top + karl & teddy edwards down low = unstoppable.
