Ha ha.  From now on, I'm going to start saying "Checkmate!" whenever I win a non-chess game - that's classic.  Also, I think "Checkmate, motherfucker!" would be a great catchphrase for an action movie.  Can't you just picture Arnold saying it, right before he blows somebody away?  I'll have to remember that for when I become a Hollywood producer...

I gotta agree with you Lips. This poll kicks ass. I was a little torn, though. I do love saying Checkmate, but I would also like to play Tecmo with Jesus Shuttlesworth.

i also was torn, primarily because my diet consists mainly of the bell's grade f meat, but since if i could make a rom it would be a tribute to sweet lou, i had to go with him.  also, on the screen name issue, it is generally not pronounced but lets go with "dove for the ball"... my name is dusty overby, so usually my screen names revolve around "doverby" which for the dee-nee crew is modified to be "doveRBI"... a logical progression i think.  so phonetically one might say "checkmate mu-the-r phu-king doe-ver-bee!"

I'm even trying it out at home. I corrected my girlfriend on some stupid thing, and yelled "Checkmate, Motherfucker!" at her. She didn't seem to think it was as funny as I did. Pretty soon, that will be the phrase of the next generation. It'll be on Coke commercials.
