Created an account, gone through and fixed some typos in the lineups. Not sure how I can contribute in terms of data, but I'm a user on the big Wikipedia as well, so maybe I can help on some of the more Wiki-based stuff. Will do what I can with the RBI players though.

Andy

Mark

I'll do a couple more, since my Wade Boggs page was an amazing sucess.

Awesome Andy, most appreciated.  Many of the pages can use wikilinks and cleanups.  Whatever you can contribute would be great...

Stubs, a great idea andy!  Was goign to figure out how to make one of those, but doing it via a category makes perfect sense given the volume.  This way people can go to the stubs category and see which pages need more info...

Mark - the fun facts for the Boggs page are quality, keep it up!

Mark

I'm doing "I'm Keith Hernandez" right now.

Okay, done..anyway to back up the wiki in case some pages get erased again?

Each page has an edit log, so you just have to revert to a previous version.

Gantry

Since I'm too lazy to look, how exactly do you revert Andy?  I copy/pasted a previous edit, but there is likely an easier way that doesn't have all the history formatting in it...

Mark - Nice work on Hernandez!  Be sure and wikilink all the years (though if a year appears twice on a page only link the first one), because I'm starting to go through and make "Notable RBI events in 19xx" pages.  Right now I typically add births, first game, last game and some of the notable events listed on each players transaction history on BR.  Small now, but will grow like everything else...

GDavis

I'm afraid if I do another one someone will come along and delete it again

Gantry

Have no fear, the edit history is here!

1) Go to the page you want to revert
2) Click "History"
3) Click on the timestamp of the version you wish to revert to
4) Click on Edit.
5) On the edit page, it will warn you "WARNING: You are editing an out-of-date revision of this page. If you save it, any changes made since this revision will be lost." Type "revert edits by <vandalsname>  to version by <goodname>" in the Summay.
6) Click Save Page. Voila - you've reverted!

Solid work Mark, added a few of Buckner's important dates to the RBI by Year category - like his MLB debut on the 1969 page:

how can we dispute the neutrality of articles, like on the real wiki?  I tried {{NPOV}}, but all it does it display:

I don't know if the template system is in place.  use the discussion for any page...

Nice work again Mark, you're on fire!  Filling in some of the years now...   From Mark's Gibby page:

Gibson was simply an amazing athlete. He attended school at Michigan State and set several records in baseball and football. He was an All-American football player, setting school records with 24 touchdown catches, 112 receptions, and 2,347 yards. The St. Louis Cardinals drafted him in the seventh round in 1979.

I had no idea, that is pretty darn impressive...
