Went to Nick's last night and played RBI on a brand new 57" HDTV in widescreen mode.  It really didn't look all that bad, although it was a tad dark from one spot on the couch.  We had a quick-n-dirty tourney with four people, curve and random teams.  Nick and I had an awesome finals, with Dick Schofield hitting a homer in the top of the 15th for a Nick victory.  That's our personal record for curves...

we play on a huge big screen tv as well...im not sure of the exact measurments, but its impressive nonetheless...its weird to play on smaller tvs now....hard to see....but the big screen does add a great twist

Only problem I had with the huge TV (played it at my brothers house as well) is things look a bit stretched because of the widescreen.  You can set the TV to the normal mode, but the extra space on the sides was a real distraction.  You could probably get used to it though...

A friend of mine had access to a video projector and we were able to hook the NES up to it.  When we realized the possibilities, we went to a local basketball gym that another friend had a key to.  Well, the gym had a huge white wall that we projected RBI on!  The screen must have been 10 feet by 8 feet or whatever the ratio is.  It was friggin' huge!!!  I can only imagine that playing on something like a movie or IMAX screen would be better.

i can only imagine what would have happened if someone came into the gym and saw you guys playing nintendo on a projector...   dont know how you would explain that one.

No way, Big Hath.  Are you for real?  That must have been a transcendental experience.

No foolin'.  It was very cool.  The fireworks were almost lifelike.
