McGee?  Gaetti?  Someone else?  (I don't know how this is possible... have you seen these two?)

Discuss.

EDIT:  Pictures added.

Wow, I mean it's really hard to choose. The ratfaced Gaetti, or Willie "I just smelled a fart" McGee. I gotta give it to Willie. Cardinal great, ugliest RBI'er ever.

MR RBI

I'd have to say one of my boys from the Mets. Good old Jesse.

TempoGL

i think mike scott looks uglier in that picture.  hard to imagine, but jesse orosco just looks like a kid.  scott was a "future star" but already looks 40...nice hair

Just realized Mike Scott was a Met. Talking about before my time. Hes overrated anyway. He only had a couple good years.

I am one of only two people to vote for Gary Gaetti.  It's close, but I'll give him the nod.  He looks like a handsome gent in the pic I posted, unfortunately, compared to how he usually looks.

I also heard that Willie McGee is not only ugly, but dumb as rocks.  My mom's husband told me several stories about him (he met him once and has heard lots of stories about him), including a story about how he missed three innings of a game becauase someone parked in his spot at Busch and he was driving around looking for a place to put his car.  I also heard that he lived with Ozzie Smith for some time, because he needed someone to take care of him, a la Big Pete McGrath.

willie mcgeezer.  hands down.

Being a fan of both the Cubs and Royals (I live near KC in Lawrence Kansas)...I've had the displeasure of watching the rat far too many times...that picture was far too nice.  These are the best I could get, but should give a better idea...

Still hard not to give my vote to Willie McGee now, however...

you're right...gaetti is much uglier.

mcgee just has an inordinately tall/skinny head.

Not sure why, but I remember McGee's ugliness varying a bit.  I had a few baseball cards of him from the late 80's, and he looked distinctly uglier with a mustache.  I remember my sister looking at a baseball card of his and proclaiming his ugliness.  I also remember my grandmother proclaiming Scotty Pippen an ugly guy.  Ah, memories.

nice gaetti

"E.T." Mcghee we used to call him.

MR RBI

I think Gary is the most retarded looking.

BDawk

Gaietti looks like Skolnick from Nerds

From thebaseballpage.com:

"Stan Musial is the best player to ever wear the uniform, but the ULTIMATE Redbird would have to be Willie McGee. Awkward and a bit homely, McGee held two rare, simultaneous virtues: he was singularly talented and sincerely modest - in short, he was a lot like the city. The citizens of St. Louis loved him for it."

Willie in his rookie year - his younger, handsomer days...

MR RBI

This was hard to get but i got Willie Mcgees baby picture. He was a cute Baby.

I always thought that Willie played his entire career with a speck of dust in his eyes.  At least in his second stint with the Cardinals, he blinked and wiped his eyes 100 times every at-bat.
