Just finished Sandberg's speech, it was a good one.  One of the original childhood heroes, makes you feel a bit weird watching him give a Hall of Fame speech.  Focused his speech on respect for the game, which was well done...

They showed highlights of Boggs, yet no clips of getting the Lefty Hit, eating chicken, getting beat by Margo Adams or drinking beer on an airplane...

I kid because I love....

Boggs' speech was a bit more emotional than Rynos, but still good.  A little overzealous thanking every person he ever met but enjoyable nonetheless...   

I figured he would have taken a few sentence to explain how his contact rating helped him, but alas he ran out of time...

Intresting tidbit is that Sandberg thanked Bill Buckner in his speech, but was absent in Boggs'

Gammons gives a shout out to Ellis Burks, but no mention of Tim...   Oh yeah Peter Gammons got nominated to the hall of fame.  His OPS kind of sucked, but I like the guy...
