I've been playing RBI for most of my life but never bothered to look at the flags in centerfield above the scoreboard.  I noticed today that they're always blowing in.  Always.

Makes all those bombs that land out of the screen all the more impressive, as they're hit into a stiff wind.

Then again, I could be mistaken, as we all know well, the graphics aren't great.  The flags could also be blowing out.  I'm really not totally certain.  Anyone?

I just wiped my ass then smelled the toilet paper.  What's wrong with me?

Please refrain from refering to my stiff wind.  I'm quite modest about it.  What is impressive is when Saberhagen jacks one out.

Dove, you're kidding, right?  Sabes going deep?  Impossible!

Yeah I just said that to get a rise out of some people.  I have hit a walzie with him.  As yet, we've not established that pitcher has ever hit a legit homer.  Do not ask what a walzie is, if you do it will be extremely obvious that you've not read the dee-nee glossary.

I've never seen a pitcher wallzie or even a pitcher hit that was close to a wallzie.  It's been mentioned a few times on this board, but I can't accept it until I see it with my own eyes.

I will swear my RBI career to the fact that I hit a walzie with Sabes off Jesse Orosco v. fellow forum member mjlinds.

My brother's theory is that the flags blow out to right, so that would explain y there are so many good left handed hitters.

Blows out to right?  Could be a very valid point.  Who knows?  I gotta look again.  They really do look like they're blowing in.

As for a pitcher hitting a homer, wallzie or not:  it's gotta be possible.  But I think all the planets must be aligned correctly and all things must be right in the world.  I have hit a couple of balls to the wall with a pitcher that were unfortunately caught.  So I would think a wallzie would be possible since it's the shortest distance from home plate.

Best hitting pitcher?  John Tudor.
