That's just a taste.  He had the dorkiest nicknames for everyone.

All my bud and I did really was say each last name with a high, throated voice, like darryl STRAWBERRY!!!!  (insert voice here)

Either that or we'd pronounce the name really fast, like LENNYDYKSTRA!!!!!

That's always been one of our classics but you have to remember to get it in during the 5 seconds it takes to sub for him in his first at bat.

I think that there should be an All-Nickname team put together here.  at the Dee-Nee forum.  Everybody throw in your favorites.  Unless of course there has already been some posts about this.  Just like a normal team.  One at each position.  4 subs and 4 pitchers.
