Playing RBI Online

Hey There,

Awesome site and I am glad to see you guys keeping it going. RBI was the best game ever made and a big part of my childhood. My brother and I are trying to play online. Has anyone had any success? If so, what is the best software to use. Has anyone tried an emu with Kaillera or Netplay? Please report with the some details on how to do it. Thanks in advance for the help.

There have been a few efforts to get online RBI going, but nothing has come to fruition.  For one-on-one Internet games, both Nesticle and FCE Ultra have proven worthy...

i play at work but i use nestopia because i have winxp........... does anybody know how to do it with that or do i need nesticle on this?     i've never plyed anyone online either, would like to know how

I should get an FAQ question, this is partly my fault.  I've only experiement a few times myself....

The PC section of the FAQ needs the most work, maybe I'll tackle this weekend...

My experience with internet play was lagged at best. I would literally have to swing during the windup some games to hit. Catching fly balls was disasterous with a 1 sec delay. Run downs impossible. IMHO it was really bad.

HOWEVER I did use FCEU for INTRAnet games & it plays near flawless. Maybe one out of 10 or 25 games has a sync glitch.
