It has to be Oquendo/Boggs.  Since the question was "what 2 players", I cannot immagine that 2 other players have more than 2.

I said it once and I'll say it again - stock is smart

Seriously, if you struck out to hjose Oquendo they shouldn't let you back in the league...

fightonusc

So what's most worstest, striking out to Oquendo as a batter, or giving up a tater to him as a pitcher?

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

Some one needs to make an All-hJose Oquendo ROM, where every player and pitcher is hJose.

Even worse than giving up a whiff to Oquendo would be one to Boggs.  Can we find out which losers struck out to Boggs?  I bet the chicken grease on the ball gave him extra break...

BeeJay

Would every team be the Baseball Pirates?  This sounds like a fun rom, especially for all the bitches out there who think parity is such a wonderful thing.
"Thank you Mr. Toilet Bowl..thank you for being cool on the side...you're the only one that understands me."

Yes indeed, Oquendo and Boggs are the two fireballers.

hJose actually pitched 4 innings in a 19-inning Cardinals loss to the Braves, striking out just one but giving up the game-winning 2 RBI double by Ken Griffey Sr.  His other strikeout victim was none other than Neon Deion.

I couldn't find out who Boggs struck out.

Extra useless info: Danny Heep may hold the rare distiction of both giving up a hit to an RBI position player (Gaetti) and getting a hit off an RBI position player (Oquendo).

Wow, good work Gerlost, how did you find these facts?

Yesterday, I looked up all the RBIers who pitched and had strikeouts.  Then I went on retrosheet.org and looked up the box scores for the games they pitched in.  Some have inning-by-inning summaries and some don't.

Just a lot of looking and I'm creepin' and I'm creepin'.

That may very well be the most impressive piece of useless RBI knowledge ever, I salute you!

Agreed.  Anyone who can come up with a better trivia question than that deserves something even higher than a Dee-Nee... probably something we don't even know about yet.

Name the two career leaders in games caught for the Oakland A's - one is an RBIer

fightonusc

Terry Steinbach has to be one. I know Mike Heath played there in the 1980s, is he the other one?

Well done, you can have Terry's All-Star MVP trophy...
