Official Fantasy RBI Baseball League III Pre-Draft Thread

I'm good for late Friday night, or late Saturday night.

I'm also for a lottery draft.

I won't complain about the league regardless.

It will be a snake/wraparound draft. I'm thinking Friday during the day. If anyone has a problem with this, let me know.

Here's the draft order I have (for returning players, it was based on playoff performance (or regular season if team did not make playoffs). For new players, it was strictly in the order that RSVPs were received:

1. Teddyballgame (reigning Fantasy World Series Champ)
2. Beefmaster (last season's World Series runner-up)
3. Ultimate7 (last season's regular season champion)
4. fknmclane (tied for third place last season)
5. fightonusc (seventh place last season)
6. defen (eighth place last season)
7. Ryno
8. Shooty Babbit
9. Baines
10. Gerlost

no way can i be reliable during the day.  Friday's are usually my crazy days and I don't know how long I'll be in the office.

I guess alot of it depends on the draft format.

Do we all want to do this over the board instead of via chat? I'm actually less concerned about this group going AWOL for big chunks of time like the last Fantasy Babe Draft group did. If people know that they aren't going to be around, they can also send me proxy picks (like we did last season).

Is everyone OK with going from using chat to doing it via the board? Let's try to start on Wednesday if we do it that way...

i can do it that way.  I can check the board every so often and I can send fighton my player rankings.

I think we'll just do IF/OF/C, meaning that you'll always need to have 4 IF, 3 OF and 1 C in your line-up.

I think that Teddy's IF/OF placements are pretty solid. If anyone disagrees with them, let me know.

The Hip Young Popes are not prepared for a Friday online draft.  Unless I can make my picks via cell phone/text messaging/etc.  I won't be near a computer but I can carry around my draft board.

Friday night and Saturday night are out for me, but during the day I can do whatever.  If it's at night those 2 days, I'll have AIM on the phone or just PM picks, so don't worry about me.

Well, then let's just do the draft on the board starting tomorrow. If anyone wants to get a list of proxy picks to me, they can either PM them to me or e-mail me (PM me if you don't have my e-mail address). Also, if you let me know your IM address, I can ping you when it's your turn (I have both YIM and AIM).
