Recap:

By only giving up two runs over four innings, it's not surprising that Mike Krukow picked up the win against The Hip Young Popes in their Doverbi Division game on Friday afternoon. What is surprising is that he was also the offensive star as well. Krukow led The Poopydicks with four RBI, including driving home the final two runs, to lead his team to a 12-2 game stopped after four innings due to the mercy rule.

The Poopydicks (4-5) racked up 16 hits on losing Hip Young Popes (3-5) starter Doyle Alexander. They did most of their damage in spurts, coming up with innings of seven and five runs to propel them to victory.

Phil Garner and Paul Molitor hit back-to-back home runs in the second inning, the first of the season for both.
