---Week 4    - some low scoring games

Chc 9 Oak 2
Gene Tennace broke up the shut out with 2 outs in the 9th with a solo shot (promptly followed by a Joe Rudi HR) in an unbelievable pitching performance by Sutcliffe and Jenkins. Best WATCH pitched game I've ever seen.
HRs:   Dawson, Wilson, Tenace, Rudi

SL 10 Hou 6
SL got 5 in the 4th to take a 7-3 lead and never looked back.
HRs:   J Clark, G Davis, Brock, Hornsby

Atl 23 NYY 15
The Braves got 3 in the first and 2nd and led start to finish, The Yanks got 6 in the 8th to cut it to 19-14, but that's as intersting as it got
HRs:   Matthews, Johnson (2), Adcock, Murphy, DiMaggio (2), Aaron (2), Gehrig, Mantle, Mattingly, Horner

LA 23 Bos 12 (6 inn)
Each team got 6 in the first, from there Koufax settled in while Tiant did not and the Dodgers rolled.
HRs:   Cey(2), Yaz(2), Foxx, Robinson, Williams

Cin 8 SF 7
In a classic pithcer's duel, Mays and McCovey hit back to back homers in the top of the 7th to cut the deficit to 7-5, but Bench answered with a solo shot in the bottom half to extend the lead to 8-5.  SF started a rally in the 9th getting doubles from Dark, Mays, and McCovey to cut the lead to 1 with McCovey on 2nd and 1 out but Buorbon got out of the jam to get the save.
HRs:   Perez, Mays, McCovey, Bench

All 1 run losses, they're gonna be fine though, at this point I'd be suprised if they don't finish #1, and I say they are basically guaranteed to make the post season, they are that much better than everyone else.

They are averaging 6 HRs per game, 2nd best is NYY at 4.7 per game, Aaron has only 7 less HRs than the Astros.
