Sorry all and thanks to all who paged...  Long-ass fucking day with power outages sprinkled throughout the office.  Then when we finally get our power back, all the servers were attached to a single outlet in the office that worked.  Of course that outlet was attached to a light switch and the last person to leave accidentially shut down all the servers when he turned off the lights.  Since I was at a customer until 7:45 I couldn't get back until now to fix.  Then the database was corrupt, etc...

I need food...

I find it interesting that such a high tech comany (Gantry, at least) gets screwed by an accidental light switch flip so often.  Gantry rules.

Light switches are very deceiving, if you turn them off power sometimes goes away.  It's time to get an electrician in here and get rid of the stupid fkn outlets that are tied to the light switch...

i had been reloaded once every few minutes for about an hour.  then when i got the message about a database error (or something) i was reloaded like three times per minute, knowing that the return would be soon....

That is so funny. I kept clsing the internet window and then reopening it. I think i did this ten times in a row until i called TBT and confirmed he was not able to get access either. The 12th time worked i was so happy i did not lose you guys forever.

I'm going home and can safely turn off the lights now without repercussions.  Thanks for all the patience guys, a new UPS will be installed shortly.  Dee-Nee and the parts needed to get it online (switch, router, CSU/DSU etc) should be able to handle 30 minutes of no power.  Right now the network hardware can while the $30 powerstrip/UPS combo gives me about 5 on the server itself.  Unacceptable...
