In my youth, I played almost exclusively with Dt and was a huge supporter of Sweet Lou and even Matt Nokes.   I just never get much power from Nokes or Whitaker anymore.  Whitaker does get his fair share of hits, but very few homers.  I actually started subbing Nokes out sometimes (not with Pat Sheridan).  That being said, Brookens is my favorite righty hitter in the game.  He routinely comes through with multi-homer games when I play with Dt.

That I won't disagree with.  It's the odd day when Sweet Lou comes up big.  Nokes must have some sort of power boost when the bases are empty because that's when he hits.  If anyone's on, he fails
