Who was most snubbed by RBI?

Since all of the players are ones that would have appered on all star teams in RBI, I had to go with Rickey as being the biggest snub.  Hershiser also would have made sense as he pitched 2 innings and Fernando never appeared in the game.

There are a few players on each RBI team that never actually appeared in the game along with some notable snubs.  And I don't think anybody knows why the hell Al Pedrique is on the game.

I would just love to see Bo Jackson play RBI.  If he would be half the player he is in the Tecmos then he'd be top 5 material for sure.

I voted for Murray, I consider him and Dave Winfield the two guys from that era that had the most RBI-like qualities...

Jackson and Bonds were too early in their careers to be considered.  Bonds had a decent year in 1987 but including him at the time would have involved ESP into how his career would turn out...

Too bad the Toronto Blue Jays isn't an option. They should have been included, somehow. The 1987 team would give DET a good run for the money. After subbing McGriff for Iorg, you would have a fantastic lineup (7 spots with double digit homers & Tony Fernandez as leadoff), with Rance Mullinks & Cecil Fielder still on the bench.

Although I voted for Rickey. Super speed with good power. He hit 45 homers combined in '86 & '87, and would be as fast as Coleman.

Well, speed and power should be about even, so it would mostly come down to the righty/lefty preference.

For speed guys I prefer lefties, so easy to hit the slow roller to the left side.

Since this is a hypothetical question it's obviously pretty tough to answer.  But if you put Rickey's stats next to Rock's, Rickey's stack up better.  More power, maybe a hair faster, a la Vince.  I think he'd be like a faster Eric Davis.  Damn, that's a tough call.

A player that i wish was on the game is Walt Terrell.  He led the Tigers in games pitched and had a 17-10 record.  He was in my fraternity in the 70's at Morehead State and I drank a Falls City Beer with him at homecoming last year.  I'd love to be able to say I drank with an RBI player.

I wish there was a Mariner included.  Sure they sucked in '86 and '87 and they had really shitty players, but I would have liked to see Mark Langston or Alvin Davis make it.

maybe that is pushing it--but it would have been nice to have a player from each team represent a portion of the AL and NL teams.

Langston was good enough to be traded for Randy Johnson and STILL have the city of Seattle pissed that they were getting screwed in the deal.

Fred McGriff and Dave Winfield, as mentioned should have made my poll.  And how do you forget Cleveland's Cory Snyder?

1987 stats: .236, 33 hrs, 82 rbi

There is no question that Cory Snyder sucked and he probably has as a high of strike-out per at-bat ratio as any one who has ever played (including Kevin Maas and Rob Deer), but he 57 homeruns between 1986 and 1987 is pretty good.

First of all, I haven't even thought the name Kevin Maas is so damn long. That's funny.
Second, you sort of have some Mariners. Spike Owen and Dave Henderson played the better part of 1986 on the M's.
