The "city" is Knob Noster, MO (I don't know what the hell it means or where it came from).  Aboot an hour east of KC.  Anyway, Stu made his way up here today and we immediately played of couple games of curvy RBI.  We're back.  2 great NL games pitting Houston vs SF.  We split, with Nolan getting the win in the game he pitched for me.  More to come from this week long RBI outing.

is that a military base... where do you call home... arkansas or western central missouri north of the 28th parallel?

Yeah, it is an Air Force base.  I lived in Fayetteville, AR for 22 years, but they shipped me up to MO.  The only good thing aboot MO is that they sell beer and alcohol on Sunday.

Out here in IL we don't have any of those funky alcohol rules.  Just came back from New York and they couldn't sell hard alcohol and beer in the same stores!  In NYC you could buy beer all night but good luck findnig a place that sells the hard stuff after 9pm....

you dont realize the restricitions on booze until you travel.  i had no idea that arkansas was a dry state... pennsylvania, on the other hand is versed in quaker purity and i see why they have their laws.  as for out here in california, liquor stores, gas stations(beer/wine), grocery stores,  they all sell it depending on who wants to buy the license...  and they seel up to 2 a.m.  

the ultimate is vegas where you can get booze all night long and walk down las vegas blvd with beer the size of a football... sin city baby!

Arkansas is not a dry state!  Only on Sundays.  But there are some dry counties, which is pointless because it is only aboot a 5 minute drive to another county to buy booze.  It appears this forum has turned into a forum discussing beer and alcohol.  Oh well.

Oh Gwynn, take a joke.  I am not being hostile.  I just didn't want everyone thinking we were a bunch of mormons or amish people in Arkansas who don't drink beer or caffeine.  We drink our fair share.

its 2 am here in california and i just got home with my tengen belt after i defeated burnzky in the prelims 3-1 and took pines out in a best of seven championship series... 4-2.

Well, 2 AM is not that bad considering it is a Saturday night.  At least you are not an idiot like some people (me) that post in the wee hours of the fucking morning at work and then sleep all day.  I never see the sun.

i work graveyards once in a while and i dont mind them cause i feel like i am not missing anything...   and the fact that i am locked in a room watching equipment so i usually catch some zzzz.   at least you are getting paid to post on the forum... i should be in bed cause i have a game tomarrow morning.
