The Coprophiliacs Top Error-Prone Hip Young Popes, 12-8

DEE-NEE CITY - The Coprophiliacs took advantage of three Hip Young Popes errors en route to a 12-8 victory in a Fantasy RBI League game played Sunday night at Tengen Stadium.

"We had our chances, but in the end, we were too wired from all the Vault energy drinks to settle down and make plays," said Hip Young Popes' owner Gerlost after the game. "Damn you Vault for being so perfectly marketed to our team's target audience, yet so loaded with caffeine."

Vince Coleman had a breakout game for The Coprophiliacs (2-3), going 3 for 5 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored. Ken Dayley and Doug Corbett combined to give up no earned runs over the final 1 1/3 innings in relief.

Jeffrey Leonard drove in three runs to lead The Hip Young Popes' (2-3) offense.
