What days are said bachelor party so I make sure to look for the drunken posts?  And you fuckers better be bringing a laptop and attending a hotel with full-time Internet...

02/09-02/11.  If you're lucky MikeD and I will even post from the road.

rented a 12 passenger van for saturday through some discount website as opposed to booking it with a driver through the golf website and saved about $100. Cost is going to be $13 per person. Golf should be around $70/person.

They've got Callaway rental clubs for $30 if you want em, Jamey and I are splurging and renting brand new sets of Taylormade RAC's that come with the big ass R5 driver for $45, because why the fuck not, I've never played with a set this good before.

He's going to book the golf tonight (i hope) and I'll post the phone # to call to pay your share.

I believe it is a 5 hour drive from Phoenix, so Mclane and I will be leaving around 6am (hi mclane!).  If we get a time from everyone as to when they are coming in, I can arrange with the hotel to send the limo for youz guys and get everyone at once.

I fucking HATE the drive to Vegas.  There's nothing worse.  Except of course the drive home.

Count me in for golf - if they have rental clubs, that sounds cool, and I was anticipating that fees were going to be pricier than that.

In terms of steakhouses, every bachelor party I've been to in Vegas (including my own) has gone to The Golden Steer. This place is vintage 1950s Vegas - apparently, the Rat Pack used to eat there all the time, and I don't think they've updated the look since - all red leather booths, with the piano player in the lounge. Huge cuts of really good beef, Caeser salads made at your table, and first-rate service. And the prices are affordable, too.

Also, we should hit The Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay at some point during the trip.

there are also folks complaining about the lack of Bobby Grich, Dwight Evans, and Willie Randolph.

what does it take to get a private room? is there a minimum tab you have to run up? I'd definitely like to go somewhere with ridiculously good steaks, and a mile long wine list and a rat-pack feel, so fighton's place might be a good bet.

also I'm interested in Delmonicos at the Venician, Mortons, Craftsteak at MGM, and SW Steakhouse at the Wynn

I don't know for sure, since it's either been a) my party or b) someone else handling it. If you are interested, I can call and find out. Do we know how many people?

I've just booked us for 10 people on the 10th at 7pm at the Golden Steer.  GOOD TIMES.

I requested private seating but I don't think we can do it.  Groups of 20 or more get precedence, however, if we call closer to the date we might be able to haggle something.  Cigar room???

is that something that might be available?

the more i think about it, the more i think we need some place that'll give us a private dining room. once the red wine gets going, i want to be able to shout down the table and not be afraid to use an F bomb if and where needed.
