GDavis

Did I beat the whine team?  There's no way in hell I'm going to watch the whole game.

The trade deadline is after the Week 10 games. I'm tempted to extend trades for one week via the waiver wire, but fuck that shit.

GDavis Dumps Attarack, 23-20

DEE-NEE CITY - Mike Heath homered three times and drove in five as part of a 6-for-6 day to lead GDavis to a 23-20 victory over Attarack in a Fantasy RBI League game played Wednesday afternoon at Tengen Stadium.

George Bell added two home runs for GDavis (4-2), who remained in a tie for first place in the Gantry Division with The Empire. Bell joined Tony Armas and Harry Spilman by each driving in four.

Attarack (3-3) had a chance to tie the game late, scoring three times in the ninth and getting the tying batter to the plate with one out. However, having used their allotment of four pinch-hitters, reliever John Franco was forced to bat, and hit into a game-ending double play.

"From what I understand, our guys played very hard out there," said GDavis manager GDavis after the game. "Of course, I was too busy counting my piles of gold and cataloging my extensive Motorhead bootleg collection to be bothered to watch. But my assistant Moses watched the game, and reported back to me that it was 'neat' and that 'there were lots of pretty colors and other shiny objects at the field, even fireworks that go BOOM'."

Kirk Gibson was valiant in defeat for Attarack, homering three times and driving in seven. Tim Raines added a pair of homers and scored three times.

I'd like to switch Kruk's spot in the batting order with Brett's for next week.

You fear the Empire. My newly assembled team is built to score 30 runs. Ryne Sandberg has been promoted to starting shortstop, Reggie Jackson feels rejuvinated with the Empire, and Will the Thrill will light up Mike Witt.

The CommieHitlers seem nervous in facing the Empire in week 7.

Great, I get to bear the burdens of the OC firesale.

Darky

It should be a great match up Nacho. Your commies put up 12 runs in 4 last game. I bet your team is riding high on the confidence.

Gantry Divison swept the Dove Divison in week 6. The Gantry Division is superior.

I'm just waiting for Canseco to produce the numbers that made me draft him in the first round.

Great writeup on the GDavis/Attarack game, fighton.  I did overhear GDavis' assistant moses' tell him that "I seen Heath hit a bunch of balls a loooon way."

Gantry and I are just happy we didn't pick Reggie.

Shooty, do you want to move Cox back into the No. 2 SP slot or keep him as the No. 2 RP?
