The Coprophiliacs Hang On to Beat The OC, 11-9

DEE-NEE CITY - Don Sutton gave up one earned run in three innings of relief to pick up the win as The Coprophiliacs held off the slumping OC 11-9 in a Fantasy RBI League game played Wednesday afternoon at Tengen Stadium.

The OC (2-4) scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to make the game close, and Tom Brunansky's two-out double brought Will Clark to the plate with to win the game. But Doug Corbett was able to induce Clark to fly out to end the game and preserve the victory for The Coprophiliacs (3-3).

"We've got Reggie Jackson, Tom Brunansky, Will Clark and Matt Nokes, and we can't break double digits in runs," said OC manager TBG after the game. "These players might have quit on the season, but I sure as hell haven't. If anyone on this roster thinks they are safe, they have another thing coming."
